Beavers

Beaver Scouts are the first and youngest members of the Scouting family, they are aged between six and eight years old.

Children can join Beaver Scouts in the three months leading up to their sixth birthday.

They can move to the next Section, Cub Scouts, between eight and eight years six months.

Our Beaver colonies take part in many different activities which help them to make friends, help others and work towards getting badges. They will have the chance to attend a district sleepover at Hope Hill where they stay in a purpose built facility and yake part in many activities.

For more information on badges is available here

We have two beaver colonies

  • River beavers meet on a Monday
  • Woodland beavers meet on a Thursday
